I had been looking for a good thumb pick in all the usual places, but it wasn't until I stumbled across the Thomann website that I discovered this wee gem. The design, with the picking leg angled toward the top of the thumb, has a much more natural feel, almost as though it wasn't there and it is extremely comfortable to wear/use, even for extended periods of time. If you choose the right size for your thumb, there is no slipping, even if you use the occasional up-strum. I would thoroughly recommend this pick to anyone, be they a beginner or expert. The ONLY negative point is that the postage from Germany makes a single purchase, such as this, almost prohibitively expensive for a single, inexpensive item. Better if you can order a few items at once to soak up the cost of shipping.
