Not so sucessfull

I started to use this today. I played with it for over 2 hours. I was really excited for this head.However, i did't find it as good as it was advertised. Unfortunately, "sound stays same but volume is lower" thing is not true. Basicly this is a mesh head with some "string sound" added via a thin line set of head. I would like to see some other comments on this but for me, not only it is a dissapointment but also a failure for Evans.

Quiet - but not magic!

While probably the best offering out there for quiet practice, I feel it gives far more snare-wire snap than most people would want, with almost no resonance. This will certainly appeal to a lot of people, but I hope future innovations will allow for a better balanced tone, maintaining the same low volumes this offers.

Habe es jetzt 2 Monate gespielt , Sound sehr gut. Verarbeitung auch gut, leider ist aber von dem integrierten Snare Teppich nach kurzer Zeit schon der erste am Rand gebrochen und baumelt in der Snare, Sound immer noch okay. Aber kurze Zeit später riss auch der 2 und 3te ab. Hab jetzt auf ein reines Mesh Fell gewechselt. Klappt auch super.
