Sometimes, passing the time, a switch can get worse in staying in the right position, or hard in switching it. That's not the case. I mounted it 1 year ago and it works as it's new, without problems and really comfortable. I find it really good looking too, as I mount a black pickguard on my strat, so you can't even notice it's there (and I like that really much).
Sturdy feel when you move it, helped by the shape of the lever ( to me, better than the chrome ones ).
Very precise, you hear no crackling in the sound when moving it ( I use them for split coils ).
Got this to replace a temporary chrome switch on my Aria Pro II SB Elite. The bass originally came with this style flattened lever, but the one on my bass snapped many years ago and I couldn't source a direct replacement.
As I'm currently restoring the bass I tracked this switch down. Thomann were significantly cheaper than any other supplier.
The switch is very well made and has a nice positive action.
The solder lugs take solder very well indeed and the switching action is very quiet in the signal path.
My bass looks great having the correct switch back in it again.
I am using them in custom guitars to switch my hum buckers pickups between series and parallel mode.
Small, very durable, well operating (quiet). And I like that black look also ;-)
Good product!
