Goedkoop maar goed

Gebruik het voor het monteren van een camera op een microfoonstandaard. Doet precies wat het moet doen. Afwerking is niet heel mooi maar voor deze prijs kun je dat ook niet verwachten.
Ik vermoed dat een (D)SLR-camera te zwaar is voor het kogelgewricht maar dat compactcamera's en de meeste systeemcamera's prima zouden werken (ik heb het alleen getest met een kleine compactcamera).

This is a nice and easy way to mount something that has a standard 1/4 inch thread to a mic stand. If you want to use your camera on a mic stand occasionally and don't care for getting a "real" tripod for example.
I use it to attach my Zoom portable recorders.

It can, of course, not take any heavy loads, but a Zoom H6 seems to work well at least.

One drawback is that the screw actually quite easily falls out of the slit since the hole is big enough for it to slide right out. Normally and this type of gear you would actually have to screw it out, but not in this case. I always have a camera quite release plate mounted to it so that the screw doesn't fall out and get lost.

So, for lighter gear, as an easy option to attach equipment with a standard 1/4" tripod mount it works well. Just don't lose the screw.

Great little device!

I am using this with a small camcorder attached to a microphone stand and it works perfectly for what I need.

Firstly, the relevant angle you want is set, then the ball-head adjuster locked with the plastic wing-nut (metal threaded), keeping my device firmly in place - and, as an added bonus, the upper locking screw (between camcorder and plate) has a rubber cushion to prevent any marking of the camcorder/device used keeping it very firmly in place.

All in all, a handy little device, which is very well made. I would have no hesitation in recommending this piece of equipment to anybody!

Very good adapter for recorders like the Zoom H6 or a smaller camera. Not good for big and beefy DSLR, but good for smaller ones definitely. Great price as well!
